Friday’s Question #5

Hey Beauties and happy Friday! I hope your week has been going well. My week has been flying. My daughter started her first day of school yesterday which is why I had not posted on Wednesday. I just really wanted to focus on her and made sure that she was prepped for her big day!

On Thursday when we dropped her off, I was so much more nervous than she was. Thank God! She just headed off to her classroom with nothing but smiles and she just clicked with her other classmates instantly which made me warm inside. Her teachers are amazing and I’m so excited for her to begin her journey as a Prek student! Did anyone else’s kids have a first day of school? How was it?!

Today is actually my birthday and I turn 24 which still makes me happy. I’m extremely grateful to be living another year and although there’s so much more accomplishments that I would have love to achieve, I’m pretty thankful for what I did accomplish.

Ok, so for today’s question/topic of the day I decided to go for a good one.

What are you thankful for?

My answer:

I’m extremely thankful for my husband because throughout the 5 years we were married and 5 years we’d been dating, he has taught me so much about myself and I love that. I’m also thankful for my kids because they’ve showed me the amount of patience and strength I really do have. Parenting is not the easiest job, but it’s damn sure rewarding which makes it worthwhile. I’m grateful for each of you all on my blog because it gives me great happiness to know how many people share a passion just like me. Lastly, I’m grateful for makeup of course because it allows me to channel my inner creativity and let’s me express my feelings onto my face. Haha.

  1. I’m thankful for my son- he is the light of my life; my parents – even though they are both gone now, they taught me so much more than they’ll ever know, like I’m stronger than I think I am and no matter how bad things seem, it’s just a moment in time and will pass; my boyfriend-he loves me and doesn’t mean to irritate me: my life-God gave me this life and I am so thankful for it

    1. Great answer! Although your parents are no longer here they taught you a lot and that’s something awesome to pass down to your son. 🙂 life is always something to be thankful for because it really is a gift
