Boscia’s Mermaid Fire and Ice Cryosea Peel-off Mask Review

Hey Beauties and happy Wednesday! I hope you all are having a great week so far!

I love face masks and I know you all do to so I decided to give this face mask a try. I can finally put together a great review because I’m almost finished with the product.

So, this is my first time using anything by the brand Boscia and I was beyond excited.

How much is this product?

This product is $39 for 2.8 ounces (80 grams) which isn’t a bad price for the amount you get. I already got 12 uses out of this face mask and it isn’t fully finished yet.

What skin type is this for?

This product is recommended for all skin types.

Is this product cruelty free?

Yes it is. It is also gluten free, artificial fragrance free, preservative free and it is Vegan!

Packaging

Ok, so the packaging isn’t the cutest thing ever. I feel like they could’ve at least designed with a little more effort. It’s just an off white shade.

First Impression On Product

My first impression of this product when I tested it on my hand was how cooling it was. I love products that give off a cooling feeling because it feels like it calms my skin down. I also noticed right off the bat that the color was beyond beautiful. It was almost like a mermaids tail. It was very reflective and just seemed beautiful. It also has a very fresh smell which is nice because it’s oddly soothing.

Application

This face mask was pretty easy to apply. I just applied a bit to my finger and smoothed it onto my face making sure it didn’t touch any of my baby hairs or brows. It is a peel off mask after all. Haha.

How long did it take to dry?

According to the packaging, it says leave on for 20 minutes which I did, but for some reason one of my cheeks take a little longer for the face mask to dry completely. Because of that, I usually wait about 28 minutes.

Did it hurt?

No, it didn’t hurt when I peeled the face mask off. It actually felt pretty nice because the cooling effect became more cooling which was amazing. It also peeled off in big pieces which was nice and convenient.

How did it leave my skin feeling?

It left my skin feeling refreshed because of how cooling it was. My skin also felt softer, it left it looking glowy and my pores seemed like it shrunk quite a bit. The best part of this face mask is that it didn’t leave my face red which I couldn’t be happier about.

How often should I use this face mask?

I’m not to sure because all skin is different, but I typically use this face mask twice a week just as I would any other face mask.

This concludes today’s blog post! If you guys enjoyed it make sure to hit like and feel free to share this blog post!

  1. I’m really not a face mask person because I have such sensitive skin. I’m never really sure what will irritate it. But knowing this one didn’t make your face red afterwards makes me happy. Maybe I’ll give it a try. I have oily skin and that’s what I need help with

    1. Absolutely! My face never reacts to most mud masks. Freeman’s charcoal mud mask is amazing as well as this one and it’s great for oily skin. I have combo/oily skin and it helps my Tzone’s oil at bay. Haha. Thanks for reading and have a great day. šŸ™‚
