Hey Beauties and happy Saturday! I went to Sephora yesterday to get a sample of the NARS Radiance Primer and then I spotted the new Super Radiant Booster. Today I’ll be reviewing both!
Spring makeup looks usually consist of radiant, glowy, awakened and dewy skin. These products that I’ll be reviewing today are perfect for Spring/Summer or whenever you need a little hydration!
NARS Radiance Primer First Impressions
Packaging: The packaging is pretty sleek, but I love that the packaging gives you an idea of what the product will look like on the inside. It’s a beautiful pink color. The fact that this primer comes in a tube makes me happy because there’s more product then packaging so you can be relieved that your money is going a long way.
Price: The price of this primer is $36 for a 1 OZ (30 ML) which isn’t a bad price to me because many of the high end primers are priced around $36.
Swatch: This came of very pink, but you can see that it blends out into a beautiful glow. It instantly looks as if you have flawless, glowy skin. Oh, and if you’re worried about looking like a disco ball, you won’t. Haha. If you are an oily skin girl like me, you can skip applying this on your T-zone so you won’t get oily throught the day. You can even just apply this product to the high points (wherever you would apply highlighter) for a beautiful glow and definition.
Review/Thoughts: Overall, I think this primer is great for the price. I love the fact that it gives off a little glow instead of being a product that is packed with glitter because glow and glitter is definitely two different looks. This product also smells a little minty in my opinion which is ok to me because the scent doesn’t last. When you apply it, it also feels very hydrating on your skin while giving a beautiful glow. I will say that a little goes a long way so make sure you go easy with this product. The wear of this primer is pretty decent, if you’re oily like me, I would recommend applying this to the high points of your face so you don’t look to crazy by the end of the day depending on how oily you get. If you have dry skin, I would highly recommend this product to you. Lastly, it has SPF which is amazing because you can never have to much protection, especially if you’re like me and you live in Florida.
NARS Super Radiant Booster First Impressions
Packaging: I always love how simple NARS is with their packaging because it’s very simple and straight to the point just like their products are. The black-sleek packaging is stunning and there’s a little line towards the cap that gives you a sneak peek at the color of the radiant booster.
Price: The price of this booster is $30 for 1 OZ (30 ML) which is amazing considering it’s cheaper than the primer or even your average highlighter.
Swatch: This swatched beautifully, it felt cooling when I applied it to my skin and the glow is unbelievable! The color is stunning and in my opinion would work with almost any skintone.
Review/Thoughts: I’ll start of by saying that this booster is limited edition which sucks because I didn’t know that until I just went on NARS website and seen it. I seriously fell in love with this product because it’s so versatile. You can use it as a liquid highlighter, mix it in with your foundation, rock it as a primer or even use it as a liquid shadow. The options are seriously endless. The price point for the size of this product is definitely affordable and as you can see from my swatch, a little goes a long way. If you’re an oily girl like me, go easy with this because it does have shimmers in it and it may make you seem a little bit oily. If you have dry skin, this would be great to add a little glow to your makeup look or even when you wear it by itself.
I hope you all enjoyed these 2 product reviews! Have you ever tried any of these? If so, let me know what your thoughts are on it. Will you be purchasing any of these? Also, if you have any products you’d like me to review, feel free to let me know in the comments below.
