Hey Beauties and happy Tuesday!!! I hope your weekend was amazing! If you want to see what I did this weekend, make sure to check out my Weekend Recap post on My Life Beyond Makeup Blog!
I feel like it’s been forever since I wrote a post on here. I think it’s because of my new posting schedule change. I think you’ll be getting a few extra posts from me being that Valentines day is in less than a month. I love makeup looks that include pinks because they’re so beautiful!n
Today, I’ll be sharing my top 10 favorite drugstore makeup items to date! High end makeup can definitely get quite pricey. It’s also always nice to go back to drugstore makeup because let’s face it, drugstore makeup is pretty awesome and so affordable.
1. Maybelline Fit Me Foundation $7.99
When this foundation first came out, I had to try it because my pores are ridiculously huge! This foundation in the matte and poreless version was literally made for me and I seriously repurchased this foundation like 8 times. The great thing is they have a foundation type for any skin type which is amazing, not to mention, they have tons of shades to choose from!
2. Milani Baked Blushes$7.99
If you’re on a budget, but looking for a pigmented blush that’s so affordable, you seriously have to give this blush a try. It’s amazing and there’s a wide range of shades which is always nice. I usually find it best when you apply this with a fluffy angled brush or a stippling brush.
I used this mascara in high school and I love the formula of this still! It is such a black formula that keeps your eyelashes curled and lengthened. I also am obsessed with the rubber wand that they paired with this mascara because it grabs every eyelash so all of your lashes are coated.
4. ELF Baked Highlighter $4
I gave this highlighter a try when I was on vacation and needed a quick and affordable highlighter. This ended up being a really amazing highlighter. It’s not a blinding highlighter, but it gives you a natural, healthy glow as if you are fully hydrated.
If you love the look of liquid liner, but you don’t feel like you have control of majority of the liquid liner brushes that are on the market right now, try this product. It gives you full control and the formula of this is amazing. Although this liner isn’t waterproof, it is great until you rub your eye so be careful!
6. NYX Micro Brow Pencil $10
If you want a dupe for Anastasia’s very highly raved brow wiz, then give this a try. Even if you’ve never tried Anastasia’s brow wiz, give this a try if you need help with your brows. This brow pencil is very precise which I love and it’s great for travel because it takes up absolutely no room.
7. Wet N Wild Color Icon Blush $2.99
This was one of my very first brand of blush I tried using when I first started my makeup journey and I still love it. I mean $2.99?!?! Can you really go wrong?! I don’t think so. The brush in this compact sucks, but it’s expected. They always suck! Haha. The formula of this blush for the price is awesome and so pigmented. I love the color choices of these blushes. I also love the print they make on the blush. I will recommend to take a picture of the color because the blush name tends to rub off.
8. Rimmell London Natural Bronzer $5.79I honestly didn’t think that I was going to like this bronzer because they always seem to be more of a red undertone, or too cold in color. This bronzer is amazing and I love that it’s matte. A brush that I love using is an angled brush because it blends so nicely.
9. Pixi Glow Mist $15
This is the most expensive product on the list, but this product lasts soo long. It gives a beautiful glow that isn’t a gross greasy look. I never used to be a fan of these types of products, but I’ve been into the glow lately.
10. ELF Liquid Liner $2
There’s no surprise here that this Liner made it into this list. Haha. If you followed me for a while, you know my obsession with this Liner is real and how could I not be obsessed. It doesn’t break the bank and it’s really good quality.
I hope you guys enjoyed this post. Any drugstore products you’ve been loving lately? Let me know in the comments. I’d love to check out the products you guys love.
