My Current Morning Routine

Hey Beauties and happy Wednesday! I hope you all are enjoying your week so far.

If you missed my post on my My Night Routine then go ahead and check it out! You all seemed to love it so I figured it was only right to share my morning routine!

Step One: Wake Up

I usually wake up when my husband wakes me up which is around 7:00 AM. I love mornings so I usually don’t have trouble waking up…unless I’m extremely tired. I usually take a little time to go through my emails, reply to comments, etc… When I feel like I’m fully up, I get out of bed and begin my day.

Step Two: Boys Breakfast

My husband usually has a bagel with cream cheese or eggs and beef bacon (we don’t eat pork) for breakfast. After I prepare his breakfast is usually when my son wakes up. I change his pamper and after tons of cuddles and kisses, I make him scrambled eggs for breakfast. He usually denies when I feed him, but he loves when my husband feeds him. Haha so wrong…but so cute. After my husband leaves for work is usually when I begin getting ready for the day.

Step Three: Get Ready

This is when I do my Updated Skincare Routine and brush my teeth. If I have to go somewhere on that day, I usually do my makeup as well. If I’m staying home on that day, I usually just keep on what I’m wearing so I can stay comfy.

Step Four: Wake Up Sis

My son is an early riser, but my daughter is more of a Night Owl. Every morning she wakes up by my son jumping on her and giving her tons of kisses. After a couple of minutes, she’s fully awake and ready for her day.

Step Five: Girls Breakfast

Since the boys already ate together, this is the girl’s turn. I used to be a huge coffee drinker, but now I’m a tea drinker. I start off prepping my breakfast by making a cup of tea. My daughter usually has scrambled eggs, waffles or cereal. I love breakfast, so my breakfast usually varies depending on what I’m in the mood for. Before I begin my breakfast, I give my little guy a snack. This usually consists of dry cereal, fruit, or a granola bar. After breakfast, I write my blog post for that day, run whatever errands I have to run or spend the morning playing with the kids.

I hope you all enjoyed this post on my Morning Routine. What’s your favorite breakfast food? I’d love to know. Did you recently post a morning routine? If so, leave a link to the post in the comments below.

  1. When my daughter was younger [preschool age] I was a morning person + it’s something about that early morning quiet that’s like none other. Since everyone in my house is grown + I have to force myself to wake up early + but it’s such a peaceful time…enjoy it.

    1. Haha. I think that’s another reason why I’m an early riser. I love having a few minutes in the morning before the chaos to actually get my thoughts together. I have a 3 year old and a soon to be 1 year old and they’re pretty good for the most part, but they are a handful. Haha. They’re also great nappers, so I’m enjoying the hour and a half while it lasts! 🙂

      1. I hear you. When I do get up really early, I realize I can get so much more done. And since the sun goes down so early now, the day feels longer. Oh well, I can always keep trying!
