Product Review: 786 Cosmetics Nail Polish

Hey Beauties and happy Monday! I hope your weekend was relaxing! Hopefully your week is just as great!

As you can see from the title, today I’ll be reviewing two nail polishes from the brand 786 Cosmetics.

786 Cosmetics is Vegan, Halal, Cruelty-Free and Wudu-Friendly which sparked my interest in this brand. This product is definitely a game changer.

These nail polishes cost $12.95 each which isn’t a bad price point in my opinion. You get a 3 ounce filled bottle which will give you ample applications. Not to mention, the quality of the polish is amazing! There are tons of nail polish shades that are inspired by places all over the world which I think is brilliant and very cool!

This company ships in the US and internationally as well which I was so happy about because now my international followers can give it a try!

Ok, let’s get into this review now…
The colors that I chose were Kashmir and Istanbul.

Kashmir: Dusk Pink-with a slightly purple tone.

According to 786 Cosmetics website, this color was inspired by Kashmir’s traditional tea (Kashmiri Chai) and the pink blossoms and tulips of the Mughal Gardens.

My Thoughts on this color is it is such a beautiful mauvy pink color. This color will suit every skin tone, from the palest skin tone to the darkest skin tone and everything in between. This nail polish color can literally be worn year-round and can replace your boring nude polish. I reccomend using two coats to provide a perfect application.

Istanbul: Deep Maroon

According to 786 Cosmetics website, this color was inspired by the vibrant reds of the Turkish City. The beautiful red walls of the Hagia Sofia, the low red lighting of the basilica cistern, and of course the reds of spices and souvenirs in the spice market and grand bazaar.

My Thoughts on this color is it is so rich in color and perfect for Fall and Winter. It is also another shade that is great for all skin tones. The website states that one coat provides full coverage and they are absolutely correct. This shade is so pigmented and it has to be one of my favorites.

Application:

The brush is not to thin or thick so it applies well without getting messy. One coat is perfect for the shade Istanbul. I would apply two coats for Kashmir!

Drying Time:

This nail polish dries pretty fast. It took about 6 minutes to fully dry. I just applied a thin coat for both nail polishes. If you apply a second coat, the dry time for me was 5-6 minutes as well.

Wear:

The wear of this for me (keep in mind that I didn’t use a top coat) was about 4 days. The fourth day consisted of mild chipping of the nail polish. I’m sure the wear is probably longer if you use a top coat.

Verdict:

I love what this brand stands for and how unique the nail polish shades are. The fact that they’re Halal, Vegan, Cruelty-Free and Wudu-Friendly are absolutely amazing and makes me so happy. I also love the formula of this polish and the fact that it ships internationally is beyond exciting. The price point in my opinion isn’t bad because of the amount of nail polish and the quality you will be receiving. The shipping time was super quick and none of the nail polish bottles came broken which is always a plus in my book. I would definitely recommend everyone to check out 786 Cosmetics.

I hope you guys enjoyed this post! Have you ever tried this brand? What are your thoughts on it? If you haven’t tried this brand before, which shade was your favorite? Kashmir or Istanbul?

    1. This one doesn’t peel, it may chip slightly after the 4th or 5th day. It’s now day 8 and the nail polish on my toes are still perfect! I reapplied on my finger nails. I think I’m going to purchase the top coat to see if it’ll make a difference. Istanbul is definitely a hit. I get compliments on this color everywhere I go haha

    1. Thanks for reading. I absolutely love Istanbul as well. It’s been about a week and the nail polish hasn’t even chipped on my toes. It’s a great brand and a great formula to match. Let me know if you decide to check it out, I’d love to know your thoughts.

    1. Thanks for reading! This is a really neat brand. I never reviewed a nail polish brand on my Blog because I’m so picky when it comes to nail polish. It’s even awesome as well because I feel comfortable putting this polish on my little ones nails as it’s made without chemicals!
