Where Did I Go?!

Hey Beauties!! Happy Friday! I hope you all had a lovely week so far.

If you guys keep up with my posts, you will see that I’ve been gone on vacation from Sunday through Thursday. I wanted to take this time to spend time with my family (not that you guys aren’t my family, but taking a few days off blogging) and have a few days of relaxation.

We actually took a cruise from Port Canaveral to Nassau and Freeport on the Carnival Liberty. This was my third cruise that I’ve been on and I absolutely love cruising! I got a chance to meet tons of great people, eat some great food and relax which is always nice. We took tons of pictures, so make sure to look out for them in my future posts.

Sunday:

On Sunday  we woke up bright and early. I don’t know about you guys, but when I have something exciting to look forward to the next day, the night before I can’t sleep at all!!! Am I the only one?!

We got ready for the day, packed up the car and headed out to the Cruise Port. We had such a great experience at the Cruise Port and met some amazing people! One person that stood out to me was the security guard because he made our half an hour wait fly by.

When it was time to go on our ship, we all felt super excited….especially my energetic 3 year old!!!! She has also been on 3 cruises, but this cruise she actually understood what was going on! She had been counting down the days everyday!

We were greeted with great Soca (Caribbean) music and tons of smiles. We went straight to the Guy’s Burger Joint after dropping off our bags. If you haven’t tried a Guy’s Burger, you HAVE to try it!! It’s so good!! We attended some shows and went to dinner afterwards. Our Server was Rasmudi and he was such a genuine server! He went above and beyond and if you ever sail on Carnival Liberty, make sure to request him to be your server. He will definitely make your dining experience 100x better!!

Monday:

Monday was a sea day so we spent the day sailing in the middle of a beautiful blue ocean. We went to the pool and ate so much! There was also mini golfing which is always fun and the kids loved it. We didn’t do too much on this day but relax and enjoy some of the performances.

Tuesday:

On Tuesday we reached Nassau, Bahamas and you could instantly tell by the beautiful clear waters. We toured Nassau and we had the greatest Taxi driver in Bahamas named Gregory Toote (Taxi #174). He was awesome and he gave us a great tour of Nassau which was very informative as well!

Wednesday:

On Wednesday we reached Freeport and we literally just had a beach day! The beach we spent the day at was Taino Beach! For a small admission of $5 a person, you’re able to Kayak for free and do a couple more watersports! The food was reasonably priced as well! We had a very successful Freeport day!

Thursday:

On Thursday we reached back to Port Canaveral and it felt so weird being on land! The weather was beautiful and it felt good to be back home!

Hope you guys enjoyed this post! Have you ever visited Bahamas? What was your experience?! I’d love to know in the comments!

    1. Omg! You need to go on one. It’s AWESOME! It’s literally like a resort in the middle of an ocean Haha. Majority of the cruise ships have Stabilizers which causes the ship not to rock. Chances are you wouldn’t get sea sick, but to be safe I always bring “Dramamine” for us and some for the kids.
