Hey Beauties!! Happy Thursday!
Today I’m sharing my thoughts on Glamglow’s Glowstarter Mega Illuminating Moisturizer. There are three shades which are sun glow, pearl glow, and nude glow. I’ll be reviewing the Nude Glow for you guys.
This moisturizer is $49 for a 1.7 ounce (50 grams) which is not bad at all considering you only need a pea size of this product for your whole face. Less is more with this moisturizer because if you put to much, you’ll look like a disco ball. If you’re into that look then go for it! Im not one to judge. 🙂
This Moisturizer Claims:
- Blurs and evens out uneven skin
- Paraben and Sulfate free
- Phthalate and Mineral Oil free
Here’s the Sample size I received from Sephora ⬇️
Keep in mind, this is just a sample. The full size is way bigger and it’s in their signature silver container with the star on the lid.
Here’s what the actual product looks like. It looks very glowy and iridescent. It also smells really good. Kind of like an orange creamsicle. Yummy I kind of want one now. Haha.
I wasn’t kidding when I said you only need a pea sized amount! I used more product for this review so you guys can see how far that amount goes. When you blend out the product with your fingers or brush, here’s what it looks like. ⬇️
The more you blend, it’ll end up looking like this… Ta-Da! You’re left with a gorgeous subtle glow! ⬇️
It gives a slight glow, but in my opinion it doesn’t blur as they claim.
When I applied this moisturizer to my face it blended out beautifully and looked great. Although it didn’t blur my uneven skin, it added a gorgeous glow. My only concern was that this moisturizer made my face so itchy and there were bumps on my face.
I came to the conclusion that this moisturizer caused my face to itch and cause bumps because it was the only product that I’ve tried that wasn’t my usual routine products.
I loved the smell, the glow was beautiful, it felt very weightless on my face. The only reason I won’t be purchasing the full-size is because it made my face itchy. I have no known allergies, but there could have been a fragrance that I was sensitive to in this moisturizer. I suggest if you try this product out, make sure you patch test before you apply it to your entire face. It’s better to be safe, just in case you end up with a similar reaction as I did.
I hope you guys enjoyed this honest review. Have you ever tried this product? Did you like it? Hate it? What’s your thoughts because I’d like to know!
